Jennifer Aguilar

Jennifer Aguilar is the Executive Director of the Little Village Chamber of Commerce, where she leads the mission to foster the growth and prosperity of businesses in Little Village while harnessing the community's rich cultural heritage to create fresh opportunities.

In her role, Jennifer orchestrates the comprehensive planning, coordination, and execution of all facets of the Little Village Chamber of Commerce and Little Village Special Service Area #25, encompassing staff management, operations, programs, projects, and services.

With over a decade of experience, Jennifer has excelled in safeguarding corporate brand image and reputation through adept management of public and private stakeholder relationships. She's previously made a significant impact as a Community Outreach Specialist at Gift of Hope Organ & Tissue Network, where she dedicated six years to raising awareness about organ and tissue donation in underserved communities across Illinois and Northwest Indiana. Her journey also includes a five-year tenure as a Marketing Specialist at Hispanic Cheese Makers- Nuestro Queso, where she masterminded promotional events, campaigns, and the development of processes for private label clients. Jennifer's diverse experience has honed her leadership skills and deepened her expertise in nonprofit management, business marketing, and strategic planning.

In addition to her board service at the Little Village Chamber of Commerce, where she previously served as board Secretary, Jennifer has also contributed her leadership to the Foundation of Little Village and the Association of Multicultural Affairs in Transplantation. Her dedication to community service reached a new milestone in August 2023 when she joined the board of directors of the Illinois Transplant Fund.

Jennifer was born and raised in the vibrant Little Village neighborhood, where she continues to reside today. Her unwavering passion lies in her tireless commitment to her community, a dedication that extends beyond her current role. Additionally, Jennifer is a founding member of DePaul University’s Latinx Alumni Chapter Committee. In 2022, she received well-deserved recognition as one of the "Los 26 de la 26" (The 26 of 26th Street) young leaders in the Little Village community, as honored by business publication Negocios Now. Jennifer's academic journey is equally impressive, with a bachelor’s degree in political science & history from

DePaul University, a master’s degree in public policy, and a certification in strategic writing and advancement for nonprofits from DePaul University’s School of Public Service.
