Roberto Arroyo

Roberto is an Engineering Supervisor who earned his Bachelor of Science Degree in Agricultural Engineering – Off Road Equipment from the University of Illinois at Urbana-Champaign and has been at Peoples Gas for 11 years.

For the past year, Roberto has led a team of engineers to support operations and planned construction for the improvement of aging infrastructure. These efforts will provide safe and reliable delivery of natural gas to customers in the City of Chicago. Roberto has also been part of the Transmission Integrity Group responsible for the implementation of the Mega Rule for Peoples Gas and North Shore Gas transmission lines prior to his new position.

Roberto has held various key engineering roles and has been instrumental in the Safety Modernization Program overseeing the installation of plastic and steel gas mains. Roberto created the Next Generation Network a BRG at Peoples Gas that engages, develops, and helps to retain employees through leadership experiences and volunteer work. Roberto is also on the board of the Latino Inspired Support and Talent Outreach (LISTO!) and a new member of the Casa Central Associate Board (ELAB).
