Nicholas Ramos

Nick, a native Chicagoan, is deeply entrenched in politics and governance. He is driven by a core belief in amplifying every voice in Chicago's diverse neighborhoods. Raised in Westown, Nick attended Lincoln Park High School before attending the University of Missouri (Mizzou), where his dedication to public service took root and racial justice was supercharged.

Following his time at Mizzou, Nick embarked on a diverse career path, starting as an aldermanic aide on the Chicago City Council. His journey continued with organizing roles within the Democratic Party of Illinois, leading to a pivotal five-year tenure at the Office of US Senator Tammy Duckworth. He furthered his impact through influential roles at the Shedd Aquarium and the Democratic Party of Illinois. He spearheaded policy initiatives as the Director of Policy and Government Affairs at Alternatives. Nick currently serves as Senior Political Associate for APS and Associates.

Outside his professional sphere, Nick remains dedicated to community causes. Volunteering with Casa Central, contributing to the Chicago Park District, and engaging with the Young Democrats of Illinois reflect his commitment to community service, to name a few. Amid his political engagements, Nick finds balance in rock climbing, supporting the Cubs or Bears, exploring new food across the city, and enjoying reading/podcasts.
