Chicago Energy Policy Coordinator, Illinois Environmental Council

Dany Robles is the Illinois Environmental Council's Chicago Energy Coordinator, where he collaborates with a variety of environmental advocacy groups, community grassroots, and non-profit organizations to help push for equitable and resilient energy policies in Chicago. He also currently serves the Young Democrats of Illinois Executive Board as the Latine Caucus Director, where he is engaging to promote voter outreach and education to Latine communities across the state. Prior to this work, Dany served as Regional Organizing Director with the campaigns of Congresswomen Marie Newman and Lauren Underwood, where he helped establish outreach to the Latine constituencies in their respective communities. Through his work with Somos Sunrise, Dany has been trailblazing the intersectionality of reclaiming Latine to redefine a caucus that is rich and diverse in gender, cultural and ethnic identities. His work commitment came off after previously working as an Investigator and Security and Safety manager in corporate America.
