Sharon Aguilera

Sharon X. Aguilera is the Owner of Gentium Law Group LLC. Ms. Aguilera brings over fifteen years of experience and expertise representing Sellers and Purchasers of commercial and residential property. She has also worked directly with landlords, tenants, and borrowers, who are in residential mortgage foreclosure proceedings. Ms. Aguilera’s clients have included applicants pre-qualified with the City of Chicago, such as the Chicago Partnership for Affordable Neighborhood Buyer.

Ms. Aguilera’s work ethic and involvement in the Latino community advancement is exemplary. She currently serves on The Spanish Coalition for Housing Advisory Board, the Women’s Council of Realtors, and the Illinois Realtor State legislative team, serving as the main contact for State Representative and Assistant Majority Leader Lisa Hernandez (24th District). Notably, Ms. Aguilera also serves as a representative of her community on the Chicago Association of Realtors’ 77 Diversity Committee where she helps tackle topics such as fair housing and vital economic development and empowerment in the region. Additionally under that role, she often engages with local chambers of commerce and quasi-governmental bodies such as TIF Boards. In all these endeavors, Ms. Aguilera brings her impressive breadth of knowledge, experience and profound commitment to serve.

Ms. Aguilera received her J.D. from The John Marshall Law School where she was elected President of The John Marshall Hispanic Law Student Association and was a staff writer for The John Marshall Decisive Utterance. Ms. Aguilera was also instrumental in launching the first Student-Alumni Exchange, a networking event at Chicago for The John Marshall Law School.
