Sarah Trevino-Terronez
Sarah Trevino-Terronez is currently principal at Frederick Funston Elementary, located in the Logan Square neighborhood in Chicago. At Funston Elementary 95% of the student population identifies as Latino. Funston houses the dual language program and serves a large diverse learner population. As a professional educator and school leader Sarah has always strived toward supporting underprivileged Latino Communities.
Born and raised in Chicago, Sarah is a 1st Generation Mexican American. She is in her 18th year of serving Chicago Public Schools. Sarah has obtained two masters degrees and specializes in bilingual and dual language education. She is a strong advocate for diverse learners and a member of Network of HIspanics Administrators in Education (NHAE)
