Alexander Cabrera

Alex is a first-generation Mexican-American college graduate from Indiana University with a bachelor’s degree in Management and a minor in Entrepreneurship and Small Business Ownership. This educational background has provided Alex with a strong foundation in business principles and an understanding of how to navigate the challenges of entrepreneurship.

Alex serves as an Operations Assistant at both Cabrera Logistics and National Backhaul Inc analyzing and organizing data into actionable reports. He plays a vital role in driving efficiency, reducing costs, and maximizing revenue for the company that was started by his immigrant parents. In addition to his role as an Operations Assistant, Alex fulfills the role of accountant and operations officer at Midwest Cargo Equipment and Gente Fina, a retail store for cargo equipment and the former a clothing brand.

He uses his strategies in financial analysis and inventory management to enact positive transformations within the organizations. Looking forward, he aspires to further propel these businesses and, perhaps, transition into a role as a business consultant, in hopes that his experience and new insights can guide others towards success.
